Qutub-ul-Aqtab Hadhrat Khwaja Qutubuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki Quddisa Sirrohu

Qutub-ul-Islam Hadhrat Khwaja Qutubuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki Rahimahullahi Ta’la was born at Osh Town, the region of Mawraunnahar. His real nam is Sayyed Bakhtiyar and the title is Qutubuddin. He belongs to the family of Hussaini Sa’daat. His parental lineage is as follows:

Sayyed Bakhtiyar Bin Sayyed Moosa Bin Sayyd Ahmad Bin Sayyed Kamaluddin Bin Sayyid Muhammad Bin Sayyed Ahmad Bin Sayyed Ishaq Hassan Bin Sayyed Ma’roof Hassan Bin Sayyed Ahmad Hassan Bin Sayyed Raziuddin Bin Sayyed Hussamuddin Bin Sayyed Rasheeduddin Bin Sayyed Ja’far Bin Sayyed Imam Muhammad Taqi Bin Sayyed Imam Ali Moosa Raza Bin Sayyed Imam Moosa Kazim Bin Sayyed Imam Ja’far Sadiq Bin Sayyed Imam Baqir Bin Sayyed Imam Zainul-Aabideen Bin Sayyed-ush-Shuhada Sayyeduna Imam Hussain Bin Ameerul-Momineen Hadhrat Maula Ali RadhiAllahu Ta’la Anhum.
After the completion of his study and achieving perfect proficiency on knowledge,he went on Riyazat and Mujahida. Meanwhile, He blessed with the meeting of Hadhrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz Quddisa Sirrohu at the mosque Abul-Lais Samarqandi and in the same meeting, he became the allegiance of Hadhrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz in the presence of Hadhrat Shaikh Shahabuddin Sohrwardi, Hadhrat Shaikh Ahmad Kirmani, Hadhrat Shaikh Burhanuddin Chishti etc, and called the Gul-e-Sarsabad of the silsila. He lived for a long time in the service of Peer-o-Murshid and on the order of his Murshid, made the Dehli his quarter and lay out the essence of Ilm-o-Fadhl, since that to the present time Delhi has been the capital of India.
Every kind of beauty of the city is the result of the blessings of Hadhrat Khwaja Bakhtiyar Kaki. Sarkar Gharib Nawaz had so many caliphs but only Khwaja Bakhtiyar becomes his successor and also fulfills the rights of the succession very well. The divine love always dominates on him and in same condition he met with his beloved. Hadhrat Shaikh Mohaqqiq Dehlawi writes that in the Mehfil-e-Sima, Qawwal sings these poetric verses of Shaikh Ahmad Jaam:

“Kushtgan – e – Khanjar – e – Tasleem Ra
Har Zaman Az Ghaib Jan – e – Deegarast”

 

(Those, who slaughtered by the divine sword of their beloved, Each time, receives a new life from the side of their beloved)

After hearing these lines, he went on the state of absorption and this situation remained till four days, on fifth night he went to met with the divine beloved.
