Shaikh-ul-Shuyookh Hadhrat Baba Fareeduddin Mas’ood Ganj-Shakar Ajodhani Quddisa Sirrohu
His name is Mas’ood and famoused by Fareeduddin Ganj-e-Shakar and Baba Sahib in the world. He is the descendant of Hadhrat Farooque-e-Aazam. According the Siyar-ul-Aqtab his parental lineage is as follows:
Shaikh Fareeduddin Mas’ood Bin Shaikh Suleman Bin Shaikh Shoib Bin Shaikh Muhammad Ahmad Bin Shaikh Yousuf Bin Shaikh Shahabuddin Farkh Shah Kabuli Bin Shaikh Fakhruddin Mahmood Bin Shaikh Suleman Bin Shaikh Masood Bin Shaikh Abdullah Wa’iz-ul-Asghar Bin sheikh Abdullah Wa’iz-ul-Akbar Bin Shaikh Ishaq Bin Shaikh Nasir Hadhrat Abdullah Bin Ameerul-Mo’mineen Hadhrat Umar Farooque RadhiAllahu Ta’la Anhum.
He is the favorite student, caliph and successor of Hadhrat Bakhtiyar Kaki. He qualified the both knowledge at just the age of 18, respectively Aqliyah & Naqliyah and was counted in the best scholars of the time . It is narrated that once, in any Mosque of Multan, he was busy in studying, same time Hadhrat Khwaja Bakhtiyar Kaki came up to there, after having the opportunity of seeing him, he forget everything and put his head on the feet of Hadhrat Khwaja Bakhtiyar Kaki. Hadhrat Qutub-ul-Islam accepted him in his spiritual circle with great compassion and love. He lived for a long time in the service of his spiritual teacher and received the outward & inward blessings. After that, at the order of his spiritual teacher he established his monastery in Ajodhan, currently Pak-Pattan, Pakistan and engaged in the responsibilities of guidance of the humanity. The revolution occurred by him in the Silsila-e-Chishtiya, is speechless. Allah Rabbul-Izzah blessed him with the unmatched gems in the face of Hadhrat Jamaluddin Hanswi, Hadhrat Nizamuddin Awliya Dehlawi and Hadhrat Alauddin Sabir Kaliyari (RadhiAllahu Ta’la Anhum). On 5th of Moharram-ul-Haram, 664 AH he accepted the wisal and leave this world to met his loved one, buried in Pak-Pattan. The Sultan Muhammad Tughlak made the tomb on his blessed shrine, which is the holy light for every seeker.
