Kabir-ul-Awliya Hadhrat Shaikh Makhdoom Jalaluddin Muhammad Usmani Pani-Pati
His name is Muhammad, alias Kabir-ul-Awliya and the title bestowed by his spiritual teacher is Jalaluddin. Father’s name is Shaikh Mahmood, who was amongst the richest persons of Pani-Pat. He is the descendant of Hadhrat Sayyedna Usman-e-Gani RadhiAllahu Ta’la Anh. He was dominating by divine love at the age of childhood, but still, was living the luxuries lifestyle. He was very dear to Hadhrat Bu Ali Shah Qalandar Pani-Pati and Hadhrat Qalandar Sahib would tell to the people for his bright spiritual future. Hadhrat Makhdoom was also very influence by him, thus, once he expressed his desire to be his allegiance. For this, Hadhrat Qalandar Sahib said, “Jalaluddin! Don’t be hurry, certainly your Peer-o-Murshid will come here”. It is reported that he spent forty years of his life in travel & tourism and met with the Scholars and Mashaikh of the time. So when he returned to Pani-Pat after travelling, it was the time of Hadhrat Shamsuddin Turk Panipati, whose Sun of spirituality was shining on meridian. At first sight, he got arrested in the catenaries of his love and entered in his spiritual constituency and got blessed with the highly status of the spirituality. When Hadhrat Turk Pani-Pati looked on him, at first, said, “I see my blessings very bright on this boy’s forehead” and when blessed him with his allegiance & caliphate, said, “I gave you this and that too”. He served his Peer-o-Murshid with wholeheartedly and after his wisal he became his successor. The date of his wisal is 13th of Rabiul-Awwal 765 AH and virtuous lifespan has told 170 years. He had 40 Caliphs but the rights of succession were only granted to Hadhrat Makhdoom Ahmad Abdul Haque quddisa sirrohu. His holy shrine in Pani-Pat is still the place of relief for the disheartened souls.
